After graduating from Cornell University, you rose through the ranks of our company. You began as a production trainee, and by 1955 you were named president. In 1966, you became chairman of the board. After forty-one years with Oscar Mayer, you retired as chairman of the executive committee. The Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame honored you as one of the first inductees. You headed Madison's first United Way campaign. You served as a director of the YMCA, Chambers of Commerce and Madison General Hospital.
