We believe that the undisputed leader of the global food and beverage industry should be a leader in this critical business area.

What It’s Like to Work in Information Systems at Kraft Foods

Most Information Systems professionals are assigned to our Global Delivery Center, where they work to deliver application solutions that meet a function's systems requirements. In the GDC, you'll help develop client operating procedures and participate in designing, testing and implementing new systems. While you develop your professional skills you'll learn about the business functions and their associated information systems.

Are You Eager for a Career in Information Systems?

Generally, people join Information Systems soon after earning a bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Many have gained some business experience while attending school, perhaps working as an intern for Kraft Foods or another large organization.

Our expectations are high. We’re looking for college graduates with technical training as well as a strong sense of initiative and a drive for results. We want professionals who are self-starters and have the motivation and direction to work independently as well as in a team-based environment. And we want people who are comfortable interacting with a variety of people at all levels of the Kraft Foods organization as well as outside vendors.

For those professionals who meet our standards, we offer an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in an environment committed to your success. We encourage IS professionals to seek out experiences that will enrich them professionally and keep them challenged. We want them to gain experience in different parts of our organization, to learn new technologies and to develop their consulting skills and leadership abilities. Whether your talents are in hardware or software, supervisory or technical roles, defining problems or working toward solutions, at Kraft Foods you'll find plenty of options and opportunities. How you pursue them is up to you.

If you’re eager for the opportunity to develop technical solutions to real-life business applications, then you should consider Information Services at Kraft Foods.
