Who We Are

Kraft Foods' Global Technology & Quality Group is made up of research scientists and engineers in North America and worldwide whose technological innovations take raw natural ingredients and transform them into the mouth-watering Kraft Foods brands. Global Technology & Quality is responsible for developing new food and packaging concepts and processes as well as enhancing our existing products, packaging, and processes.

Our main North American Global Technology & Quality facilities are located in: Glenview, Illinois; Tarrytown, New York; Madison, Wisconsin; Battle Creek, Michigan; East Hanover, New Jersey; and in Canada. we have additional centers of technical expertise worldwide.

The Global Technology & Quality Team

Kraft Foods Global Technology & Quality is divided into four key areas: Research, Packaging, Product Development and Quality. Our Basic Research area develops technology to enhance existing products or investigate totally new food concepts. Product Development works on formulations to create new products and improve existing ones. Our Packaging area applies its expertise to package design issues such as shelf life and environmental concerns. Our Corporate Quality and Food Safety area applies its expertise by developing and implementing proactive food safety strategies and initiatives that minimize risks while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Most new members enter Global Technology & Quality as an Associate Research Scientist I or Associate Research Engineer I. From the beginning you'll work at the bench developing technology to enhance existing products or investigating new product concepts.

We're looking for individuals with undergraduate and advanced degrees in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Processing, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Packaging Engineering, , Food Safety and Nutrition who enjoy the challenge of applying their expertise to consumer food products.
