The new Nutrition Research Program embraces science and innovation as the foundation to discover and validate new knowledge about optimal health to advance the Kraft Foods vision of helping people around the world eat and live better. Our highly skilled nutrition and food science experts (both Ph.D. and M.S. levels) take a multidisciplinary approach to research projects that, in turn, drive the development of nutritious and delicious products for better living around the world. This cross-functional approach spans both internal and external areas of research, including consumer science, product development, packaging, university researchers and research-based organizations.

Our Nutrition Research Program is currently focused on four public health areas:

Healthy Aging                      Growth & Development
Weight Management              Performance

Scientific discoveries in nutrition can then be passed on to our consumers through innovative new products, services and communications. We continually strive to focus on those areas that are relevant and important to human health.
