Dijon

This "Classic Specialty Mustard" complements a wide variety of foods with its delicious flavor, versatility and texture. Think of it as a "smear and pack" mustard—the delicious mortar that holds recipe components together, as with a mustard/cracker-based coating for fish, chicken, beef, or pork. Dijon is also an excellent emulsifier (thickening agent) for sauces and dressings, which is why a Dijon vinaigrette is more substantial than a traditional vinaigrette. It's no surprise that you'll find Dijon in the finest restaurant kitchens.
